  • The Department of School Counseling invites parents and guardians K-12 to a virtual parent program on Thursday, December 15th at 7pm. Therapist and Positive Psychology Coach Diane Lang will present "The Positive Parent," where she will discuss how to raise children to be positive and optimistic, what types of environments nurture children toward a positive lifestyle, and how to become the role model your children will want to follow.

Please see the flyer attached for more information and for the Zoom link to this virtual program.

  • Enrichment programs are back.  The only one left is painting.  Sign up through Membership Toolkit.

  • Have you taken pictures of your students this year?   We are asking you to send them to vvyearbook23@gmail.com so they can be included in this year's yearbook.

  • Please click here for up-to-date information for arrival and dismissal procedures.  Please remember: if you need to get out of your car, park and get out, don't get out of the car in the drop off line.
  • A great way to honor someone for a special occasion is to make a donation to Valley View's Library.  Click here to make a donation through MT.

Holiday Shop

Thank you to all of the volunteer parents who helped out with the Holiday Shop this year.  We couldn't do it without you.

From Mr. Saunders

Dear Valley View families:

As most of you know, I will be retiring on December 23, 2022.  It is a bittersweet moment in my life.  I am sad to say goodbye, as I will miss the kids a great deal.  They brought a smile to my face each and every day with their stories, silliness, and unconditional respect.  It has been a sincere pleasure serving the Valley View and Montville community for almost 40 years.  I wanted to personally thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.  It has been an incredible journey and I look forward to hearing many great things about all these amazing kids in the future.  Wishing you all a safe and happy holiday season and New Year.  I will miss you all!

With love and respect,

Mr. Saunders (Mr. "S")
